Start with separate identities
Choose a stage name not used on private social accounts. Use a dedicated email address and unique password with multi-factor authentication when available. Keep personal contacts, social profiles, and payment conversations away from the broadcast persona.
Private to your viewers is not the same as private to the platform. The platform may legally require your real identity for age verification, contracts, and payouts. Do not attempt to evade those requirements.
Audit the whole frame
- Remove mail, diplomas, packaging labels, calendars, reflective surfaces, and street-facing views.
- Turn off visible phone notifications and screens that could expose messages or account names.
- Check the room with the camera actually positioned for a show, not just standing nearby.
- Strip location metadata from any standalone photographs you publish and avoid reusing private profile pictures.
Geo-blocking is a filter, not invisibility
Many platforms provide country or regional visibility tools. They can help limit ordinary access but cannot guarantee anonymity. Viewers may use VPNs, recordings may be reposted, and identifying details can be pieced together from multiple sources. Assume public material might eventually be seen by someone you know.
Set a policy for viewers and collaborators
Never share your home address, contact list, workplace, school, or financial account information in chat. Decide in advance whether you will use off-platform messaging at all. If working with a partner, agree to boundaries, recordings, revenue division, and exit conditions before either person appears.
Do not broadcast anyone whose age or consent is uncertain. Follow the platform's recordkeeping and approval rules, including for guests and partners.
The 30-second privacy test
Checklist selections stay in this browser session. They are not sent to CamApplication.
CamApplication does not receive age-verification documents or process performer applications. Confirm live requirements and regional availability with the platform before acting.
